A True Sandbox Game (+5
)
And people say GTA IV is freeroaming! This game is insane, it's got everything: a kickin' radical physics engine, amazing graphics (HDR, Super high resolution textures, BLOOM), awesome sound quality, and overall GREAT NPC interaction.
Anyway, if you aren't playing this game, then you're either dead or not born yet, simple as that. I mean despite what some other people may tell you, you are forced to play every day of your life, and although that sounds bad at first, the sheer possibilities will rapidly overtake this misconception. For example, you might do something that excites you, like going hunting or something. Hell, the other day I went to a shop, kicked the NPC shop owner in the face, took a Slim-Jim and then ran out the back door, that was certainly exciting. But then you realize something. There's something even MORE exciting you can do. And then when you do that, something EVEN MORE EXCITING. That's what's so great about this game: even when you think you are done, YOU'RE NOT.
Also, this is the only game on the market that actually has the ability to make you not feel like crap. Sometimes you need to go the bathroom or something, maybe sleep, but oddly enough doing these things in other video games doesn't help you at all. When you do it in Real Life though, you feel refreshed and better than ever once you've accomplished it! So up to a certain point, this game seems to be a necessity.
The NPCs are absolutely lifelike. Each one has been developed with different personal interests, personalities, and physiques, and no two people seem to be the same. I mean jeez, almost every person has a different sounding voice! The developers must have spent so much time making this game that even thinking about it is incomprehensible!
Speaking of developers, this game is updated constantly, like literally every second, it's completely uncanny. At this point my ISP is considering dropping me from the network because all of the patches and updates I have to download are completely flooding their servers. That's probably the only downside though, and nevertheless I'm going to continue playing it until it won't let me any longer.
As a final note on the operations of !!!--THE GAME--!!!, people are only allowed to log in once, and you never log off until the game decides to let you. For instance, people who take too much damage are usually disconnected permanently but not even that's a given. Usually though people are forcibly disconnected at about 70-90 years of age (gamewise), but again, that's just a general estimate, and it only applies to certain areas of the gameplay area.
Anyway, if you haven't considered giving this game a shot yet, you better. There's no point to pass it up, since it's only going to make you feel bad the longer you wait. The amount of people you can meet, and the things you can do are limitless... why not give it a shot? Delve into Real Life before you miss your chance!
EDIT: A kind reader pointed out that a game called "Second Life" is available to the public. It is not a sufficient replacement, and you're missing a TON of features by playing that instead of Real Life. I recommend you avoid it.
EDIT 2: I forgot to mention that certain organizations have theorized that you are not disconnected upon death, but rather just moved to spectator.
