1

1. No spamming via chat or over the mic.
(You must stop when asked to stop by any single person on the server. Failure to do so will result in punishment.)

Consequences
- Warn (once in normal chat, next in csay)
- Silence player for a round or two
- Kick
- Temporary Ban (no more than a day)
- Permanent Ban



2. No racism or offensive remarks to others.

Consequences
- Warn (once in normal chat, next in csay)
- Slay (if applicable)
- Silence player for a round or two
- Kick
- Temporary Ban (no more than a day)
- Permanent Ban

Notes:
. Friendly banter is usually tolerated (keyword usually)
. Players should respect all admin opinions even those that are more strict than others.
. Server owners and Head admins can skip consequences for this rule when presented with proof of a violation through the forums/PM/other form of ban submission by another player.




3. No server/mod/plugin/map exploitation. This includes team killing and blocking.

Consequences
- Warn (once in normal chat, next in csay)
- Slay (if applicable)
- Kick
- Temporary Ban (no more than a day)
- Permanent Ban



4. Childish Arguments (admins use their own discretion on categorizing this)

Consequences
- Warn offending parties (once in normal chat, next in csay)
- Silence player(s) for a round or two
- Kick
- Temporary Ban (no more than a day)
- Permanent Ban

Notes:
. Admins can deviate from this plan to end childish arguments if they see fit. (But only deviate for childish arguments)[/i]

5. GameSyn Tag Usage

Description
- Admins are given the power to revoke tag wearing rights for members.
- Admins should use this power to remove tags from members who do not portray or represent GameSyn in a kind, well-deserved manner.

Consequences for failure to remove tag
- Warn player (once in normal chat)
- Change name via Admin Interface
- Kick
- Temporary Ban (no more than a day)
- Permanent Ban (to be used in extreme measures only)




6. No offensive sprays. All sprays should be under PG-13 guidelines.
- admins must use their own discretion on what PG-13 is and isn't

Consequences
- Warn (only once to not use their spray anymore)
- Slay (if applicable)
- Kick
- Temporary Ban (no more than a day)
- Permanent Ban



7. Admin Guidelines

Notes:
. Admins may use aliases when playing but cannot punish a player under said alias. They must identify themselves to the rule-breaking player properly and prove admin through name or csay and continue with punishment if needed.

. You may not skip the order of consequences for a broken rule unless otherwise noted in the rule. However, you may compound 2 broken rules and skip one step in the consequences.

Example: Player does not stop HLSS after warning. Player then blocks and team kills. You may then bypass a slay and use a kick.




These rules can be changed at any time. A bump post will be used to mark such changes.
