They make it more fun and there used to be an old dtd server that had bots.

Tried it before-it died fast. We only have one or two diehard fans of NS, and the others play it for a bit, then leave.

Half-Life 1 is dying itself. More and more people are getting next gen games. I still say we should start looking outside Half-Life 1 mods.

NS isn't dead. The reason the past few NS servers have failed is because there were no alien bots. Alien bots are actually smart in NS and provide great gameplay for those wanting to come in. It also means people don't have to sit there and wait for someone else to randomly join to play.

But the Alien Bots can't build as far as I know. They only work good within the level up game mode.
