AGP Graphics Card Recommendations

Ok, before anybody asks "Why AGP?", it is because my PC does not have PCI-E slots.

-I am not buying a new PC
-I just want an AGP card recommendation

Ok, so I'm looking for a decent card to use for gaming which is AGP and is £50 or lower. I've been looking at a 6200 although thats probably not going to be a good gaming card but I can only have AGP cards.

And my current card is a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420, which is basically a GeForce2 card on steroids.

Oh and newegg doesn't ship to UK so don't send me any newegg links please.

Thanks for any help,
Abbott

Two recommendations:

1: Get a better computer with PCI-E slots
2: Change the mother board out to something with PCI-E.

I really don't have the money to do that so I'd rather just go with an AGP card at the moment but thanks anyway Byakuya... XD

i think that this http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5071689&CatId=318 is better then the 3850 and it's just 4$ more or soo... and if you want an card that is close to 50£ try this one http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3570057&CatId=318 becouse any thing lower than this is a waste of money...

Finally found a benchmark and I think my recommendation will still go with a 3850 over a 4670 mainly because the internal memory bus is 2x as large on the 3850 than the 4670 and the drivers for the 4670 are not the best which still gives the 3850 slightly better performance. Usually the higher end cards in a series will perform better than the lower end cards of the next higher series if you catch my drift so an x8xx will most likely outperform an x6xx assuming they are within one series of each other.

here's a benchmark, as you can see almost identical performance and either card you get you will most likely be bottlenecked by your processor so in the end it most likely won't matter as long as you choose either a 3850 or 4670 for agp, because anything else is just an absolute waste of money.

average benchmarks:

as you can see they are about the same

So you uh, "upgraded" from an MX 420 to a 6200?

That's pretty depressing, actually.
