RROD, turned off, now working?

Wed, 13 Aug 2008 ForcedDj Server Admin Posts: 190	1 I was playing GTA4, and weather was bad(was windy), then the screen turned off and I saw the Red Ring of Death(3 red lights). I turned it off, and then decided to eject the disc, when I did that, it was working again(showed the usual green lights). I am wondering, if this happened, will it RROD again? This is the second Xbox 360, and I am wondering will it happen again?

Wed, 13 Aug 2008 ForcedDj Server Admin Posts: 190	6 Ok, the weather was bad, but the power didn't go out, there was no blackout, brownout, anything that would shut off the power. It went to a black screen while playing, and showed the 3 red lights while the power was still on.

Eventually what happened was that the Xbox worked fine for a while and then it would only read dvd movies. When I'd put in a game, it would just say "unreadible". I had to pay the 99$ or so monies to have it fixed so I guess you will eventually have to as well. ______________________________
