Still having some problems with marking topics/forums read.
The big problem seems solved though. Had to do with me upgrading ruby to fix some security vulnerabilities which caused seg faults randomly so now I downgraded a version and applied a patch to fix the seg faults that was supplied by the community.
What joy.
